Lake Chatuge Fall Fishing
- On October 26, 2016
Well we finally got our first frost of the year last week, and we’ve been having some cool mornings. Lake Chatuge is down 8′ and water temp has dropped to 67 degrees. The Spotted bass are starting move around allot and when the sun comes up you will start seeing small pods of bait fish all over the lake, So keep a top water plug tied on at all times. The dropshot bite is picking up due to the cooler weather pushing the bait deeper. I’ve been marking fish 15′ to 35′ and deeper, trolling live herring and crank baits is producing also. This is the best time of year for fishing the North Georgia Mountains, you get to see all the big massive houses nestled in the changing colors of the trees. The fishing is only going to get better and what better way to spend time in the mountains the on the lake fishing. Give us a call today.
