It’s that time of year when the fishing is getting hot. The lakes are almost at full pool, the fish are about done spawning and are starting to feed up before moving to their summer areas. If you wanted to catch Spotted bass we’ve got the lakes for you, Lake Burton, Lake Chatuge, and Lake Blue Ridge. This time of year there are multiple ways to catch these fish, drop shot, shaky head, ned rig, trick worm, and fluke. Starting near the end of May and the 1st of June the fish in Lake Chickamauga will start moving out on the main ledges of the lake, and you can catch them on the same type of baits.
